George Reed Foundation Board of Directors, Corporate Secretary (1996 - 2016)
Lynn was asked by the founder, George Reed, to help him revitalize the George Reed Foundation (first established in 1975) and to serve on the Board of Directors. George Reed’s passion for helping physically and mentally disabled and challenged individuals in our community by supporting programs that focus on learning and healthy, active living informed the founding board governance documents created by Lynn, and her work as a Board Member. At George’s request, Lynn fulfilled the role of corporate secretary, on a voluntary basis, including participating in project managing fundraising activities, project managing the board calendar, and working with board members to fulfil the fiduciary requirements of the Foundation.
